Week 49 - “Pets Only!” Photo Challenge

This is my dog Theo after we adopted him. He is an older dog and as soon as we saw him we knew he was suppose to be part of our family......he is the sweetest most mellow dog ever. It wasn't exactly easy to snap this picture while driving, but totally worth it!

I was so excited about this weeks photo challenge.......I took this picture a while ago and just loved it. This little girl was so easy going and just was so sweet (nothing could make her cry)

Week 47 - “We ♥ Tooshies” Photo Challenge

I was all done taking pictures of my daughter Brooklyn, when our dog (Theo) ran through the fence to greet us with kisses.
Brooklyn grabbed him and lead him home......I thought it was so cute because he outweighs her by double!

I think there are 2 cute tooshies in this picture!! :O)

Week 43 - "Balloons" Photo Challenge

The theme this week is balloons and I think this is the perfect picture for this contest :O)

I was trying out a new studio (free 1 hr pass) and decided to do my first "Sweet 16" session.

The mom decided to bring some balloons and I got this picture!

Week 37: “Completely Candid” Photo Challenge!

This was my son, Tyler, last soccer game of the season (he is the one flying, #7).

Unfortunately last year he was very sick and missed most of the games and I wanted to really try to get some action shots of him to put in his scrapbook..........I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and found that I had taken this and didn't even realize it (2 small kids on my legs will do that to you, LOL)

I LOVE this shot of him.....look at the poor kids face in front of him :O)

Soccer & Scars

It started off a great Saturday...the 2 little ones had a soccer game this morning (Zach scored 8 goals) and then it was off to Tyler's game. Everything was going great and then it happened, Tyler went for a ball , fell and hit his head on a rock on the field. Soooo we spent the rest of the afternoon in the ER.

He got a CAT scan and then 2 staples in his head......to top it off the doc says "he can start playing soccer tomorrow if he wants...WHAT????

This soccer is gonna be the end of me....a concussion and staples,

we've only had 4 games!!!

All about Brooklyn!

Well it is Brooklyn's 5th birthday and I attemped to make her a purse cake (per her request)
I think it turned out ok, in a couple years she may ask if I can make it look more like a coach purse :O)

Everyone had a great 1st day of school, they all came in with lots of stories (good & bad)

My oldest son Tyler is now in 7th grade and I am having a hard time dealing with him growing up. See, for 4 years it was just the 2 of us. I truely treasure those alone times with him and am so proud of the young man he is becoming.

Above is his 1st day of 7th grade and below is his 1st day of Kindegarten :O)

This was taken on our vacation in Oak Island. Brooklyn had waken up early and decided it was to cold to swim, so she started blowing bubbles from the deck :O)
